The roots of Zardetto trace all the way back to 1917 with Bepi Zardetto, the first of his line to engage in the wine making process. In 1936 his son Ernesto won a bronze medal for a bottled wine labelled “Zardetto.” And finally in 1952 the company was born.

Prosecco is an Italian DOC/DOCG sparkling white wine produced in a large area spanning nine provinces in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions, and named after the village of Prosecco which is in the province of Trieste, Italy. Sometimes referred to as the Champagne of Italy.
