In 2001, Bodegas Borsao was founded with the merging of three cooperatives, Borja, Pozuelo and Tabuenca. The goal of this unified winery is to take a more modern approach to managing the vineyards and to establish their wines as the benchmark for premium Garnacha around the world.
THE FLAVOR PROFILE
Beautiful deep pink with aromas of fresh strawberry, citrus and fragrant rose petals. Soft acidity with mineral notes carry the palate through finish.
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
Rosé is a type of wine that incorporates some of the color from the grape skins, but not enough to qualify it as a red wine. It may be the oldest known type of wine, as it is the most straightforward to make with the skin contact method. Rosé varies in both dryness/sweetness, grape varietals, and color intensity. Many modern examples are modelled after the Provence style, which is dry and mineral forward.
