THE STORY

Treehorn Cider started with a conversation among friends in Fall 2013.  It sprang from a shared love of good wine and great food – especially from local producers.  Utilizing a robust northern Georgia apple production paired with gastronomic inclinations, Treehorn Cider was born.

THE FLAVOR PROFILE

A blend of cider and dessert apples for complex flavors and tannins gives Treehorn a tart apple and citrus aroma, bright and lively mouthfeel, and a soft mineral finish with focused acidity.

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION

Cider is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of apples.  Cider is widely available in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.  The UK has the world’s highest per capita consumption, as well as its largest cider-producing companies.  In the US, varieties of fermented cider are often called “hard cider” to distinguish alcoholic cider from non-alcoholic apple cider.  Ciders can be classified from dry to sweet.
